Anthony has years of professional experience in the exercise and health industry, having worked across a number of professional settings and roles. His experience ranges from working as a fitness trainer in gyms and exercise therapy clinics, to working in health science testing labs, to working on physical activity and community health related projects and trials. Through his diverse exposure in the field, Anthony has had the opportunity to be mentored by some of Australia’s leading experts in the fields of fitness, exercise science and healthy aging.
Anthony started Community Fit after realising his passion for using exercise as a tool to help people maintain physical capacity, promote healthy ageing, and reduce age-related functional decline. He is particularly interested in working with over 50s and older adults who want to exercise for healthy aging, better health management, and improving physical fitness. “I strongly believe that maintaining our ability to be active and delay physical decline is one of the best things we can do for ourselves as we age. I’m passionate about improving the wellbeing of our the clients at Community Fit.”
When he’s not at work, you’ll find Anthony taking a long walk along the Warners Bay waterfront with a coffee from one of his favourite lakeside cafes.
